The next pre-inquest hearing, which was scheduled for Monday 7 October in Central Manchester, has been adjourned by the Coroner.
The purpose of this website is to provide information relating to the Inquests into the deaths of the 22 individuals killed as a result of the Manchester Arena terror attack. This website will be updated as the Inquests progress.
On 22 October 2019 the Home Secretary announced an independent public inquiry into the Manchester Arena attack on 22 May 2017. Sir John Saunders, having acted as the Coroner responsible for conducting the Manchester Arena Inquests, was also appointed to chair the Inquiry on 22 October 2019 and is awaiting the formal setting up date of the inquiry. Once that date is available, this website will be updated with further information about the public inquiry and the inquests.
A preliminary hearing on the inquiry is provisionally arranged for 22 November 2019.
