On Thursday 28 February 2019 the Coroner for the Manchester Arena Inquests, Sir John Saunders, held a pre-inquest hearing at Manchester Town Hall in Central Manchester. The Inquests into the circumstances of those that died in the Manchester Arena terror attack of 22 May 2017 were formally opened by the Coroner on 18 October 2018. The hearing agenda for the 28 February 2019 covered topics such as scope, timing, venues, disclosure and other process issues. It was also a chance for the Coroner to hear from those representing the bereaved and any other Interested Parties.
